Clearing out the rubble!

Do you see a mess or do you see potential?

This is rubble from what we’re guessing was a barn. It’s always been an eyesore but with so many areas needing attention we haven’t gotten to it. Until now😂 Roberto has been tackling the weeds and I started burning.

My vision: pink and white cinder blocks —stacked about 4’ or so high will surround this garden. Inside will be flowers, plants and seating. Of course my newly painted swan planters will be “floating” around. It’ll have gates on each end. And angels standing at the gates. The East Gate will lead out to My Father’s Hill.

My Father’s Hill was a piece of our property that was hidden in prairie grass. I thought we’d just mow it down! Ha! Little did I know the grass covered rolls of rusty barbed wire, glass, bricks and other discarded materials. We spent weeks clearing and making it presentable. I told Roberto: “This reminds me of how are lives were all cluttered and entangled in sin . Once we accepted Jesus he started clearing out all the junk. I think I’ll name this place My Father’s Hill!” Just like My Father’s Hill, my life still needs a lot of weeding 🥰

One of the stones on My Father’s Hill is a Bluetooth speaker so we can sit and listen to worship music and thank God for His goodness ❤️

So. Now we will get as much done as we can before winter to prepare the garden for next year. I have a feeling I’ll be painting cinder blocks in the garage this winter🥰
